but anyway, what greater time to have popeyes than now, when grandma is out on holiday in thailand and we have no food for the week. we being my sister and i. oh and in today's case, sister's boyfriend too. got off work late today so by the time i got home, saw the popeyes delivery man leaving and there was popeyes when i got home!

when i saw the bread biscuit and the jam, couldn't help thinking about that time jo and i bought maple syrup to changi airport just because we didn't like the jam they gave. haha talk about desperate. i must say that popeyes is the fast food that brings back the most memories, having eaten it so over the years with different people.

sadly, as i grow up, the chicken seems to have lost its appeal and i dunno if its just me or the standard of popeyes. i just don't feel as excited over the chicken anymore. its the same thing with macs and other fast food. since the taste of macs food couldn't have changed so much, guess its part and parcel of growing up, that fast food is no longer as appealing. its kind of sad cos

1. it makes me feel bloody old. when i was young i used to think my parents and aunties were crazy for hating macs. now i dun understand why anyone will eat macs if they have a choice.

2. compared to some of the places we eat at now, fast food is cheap. so i am paying a lot more to have the same satisfaction i have eating food than when i was younger and eating fast food gave me such satisfaction.

3. i don't want to grow up :(

oh wells. i have no idea why i wrote this post. about popeyes. guess i am really bored :S
