cant say that things turn out exactly as expected and there were disappointments along the way, but in retrospect, things could have been a lot worst. i was unexpectedly lucky too to have met certain people who made the trip all worth it, and who made sure that i wasnt alone and sad in the freezing winter. i guess when God takes some things away from you, he compensates with others...so thank you everyone for the wonderful time and for making sure that Germany still has that special place in my heart.




my personal guardian angel must have been with me all the time :) and lovely snow. its the only things that guarantees a smile on my face every morning.



the people at mannheim. thanks for making my first christmas overseas such a great and memorable one. thank you so much jia min, sukh, freda, sami and waku :)


thanks for santa, chocolate, candles and everythings that made christmas so magical :)

thank you mr Loo for making sure that i wasnt sleeping in the hbf on nye and making arrangements with your landlord for me. for picking me up at the hbf, for buying the champagne cos you knew i was coming, for spending nye with me so i wont be counting down alone,for going out with me in the freezing cold when i know you would much rather stay at home and for making Berlin more fantastic that i could ask for! :)

laura! whoa i dun think i can even list down all the things she did for me because its just too many. but to quote you laura, distance is no obstacle to friendship and i feel so lucky that i met a friend like you in my exchange. what you did for me far surpass my imagination and you taught me many things about being a friend. muchas muchas gracias bonita. besitosssssss!


Singaporeans!!!!!!!!!! :) thanks joseph for the herbal soup and sweet sour fish, stir fried vege, chicken rice, and magnum :) for bringing me to the porsche museum. it dosnt feel that bad knowing i am not the only singaporean in stuttgart, and for being able to speak normally and singlish to.. thanks joseph and pei zhi! :)



HAHAHAHAH. danke schoen franz for the starbucks treat, for making mikel set up a fb account for stuffing snow in my face for letting me go to your new home and for sending me home when there was so much snow on the roads :) and danke schoen mikel for your radler and for just being you and making me laugh so much. :)



and daniel!!!!! thanks so much for being there in straussi and being my temporary neighbour! i would have been so bored and lonely if not for you! for being so intersted in Singapore. i really enjoyed talking to you. if there was an award for being the best neighbour, it would definitely have gone to you! thanks for the apfelschorle and for letting me use your com even when you are not at home and for bringing me sleighing and snowball fighting!!!!!!!!

well there wasnt christopher but along came christof :) i wouldnt have managed to drag my lugguage all the way to the s bahn station in the thick snow had it not been for your help!! thank you thank you so much for being so kind. i shall forgive you for dunking my face in the snow and for makign me eat so much ice..hahahhaha
