XOXO 11:31 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 which brings me to the topic.. snow! like wth. its freaking officially turned spring on the 20th march, so i pretty much gave up the idea of seeing snow in campus anymore, but i guess God loves me too much. it freaking snowed again today! :) couldnt believe my eyes this morning when i saw the white roof and actually rushed down the ladder and ran to the window to see if there was really snow. couldnt help breaking into a stupid smile when i saw the white ground:) to think i was so scared last night..i got awaken in my sleep because it was raining so heavily and the trees were pounding the window and the windows were shaking so badly i thougt they were gg to break. it was so loud and i felt so scared i juts drew the blanket over my face and hid. guess the horrible noise was all worth it when i saw the snow this morning :) anyway i am supposed to study for a german mid term test tmr! but its like freaking 9.24pm here now and i havent started. so lazyyy to study! :( and i wasted the whole afternoon away oogling with marcela at our eye candies, collecting my dried clothes and folding them and God knows what.. so after tübingen, we were all so hungry and tired. decided to go to swee foo's place to cook dinner and as we were walking back, we saw moe! (my japanese friend upstairs in the kitchen! ) turns out she was having a sushi party and she came all the way down to invite us to it! hahah she is the best i swear, and the sight of sushi and sashimi and wasabi (even though i hate it) was so familiar i felt like crying la. its like tired and hungry and u saw sushi!!!!!!!!!! like when was the last time i had sushiiiiiiii! its like super luxurious here can!  the great japanese :)  super delicious sushi! went to tubingen today and i finally got to see the place where cindy was studying at! too bad she is studying there one sem earlier than me and she isnt there anymore :( but anyway the trip to tubingen was so much better than the one to freiberg! it only lasted 1 hr plus and the weather was also nice! not too cold or hot:). and i am really looking forward to going to the ritter sport factory! hahaha  us at the tubingen schlosss,(castle) haha jordan is a lucky man to be wth so many pretty girls. hehe he comes from us btw. from the state of colorado. so after visitng the schloss, we went to the city centre where we had a meal at the chinese restaurant. it was cool cos the owner came from hk and we spoke to her in canto! hah and to thank swee foo for bringing us there (he came last yr) she treated him to a drink. unfair lor. only treat him. hahaha but eating the chinese food was great. really miss eating rice with my sweet and sour meat :)  and finally to the ritter sport factory! hahah see the friendly ritter sport poster boy! hahaha  wheeeeeeeeee. chocolates!!!!!!!!! i swear they have every flavour imaginable. really cool and it was realy cheap too! only 74 cents euro per piece and it goes for 2.80 in sg! and they even have a seasonal chocolate section so u can buy chocolates with brandy or advoocaat. i bought 8euro worth of chocos in total. (5oo g of assorted flavours for only 3 euros!) to share with my classmates and a piece each for my neighbours. hope they like it. lucky i dun have much of a sweet tooth. otherwise i am doomed. hahaha XOXO 8:32 PM Friday, March 20, 2009 the weather remains just as cold though. XOXO 5:46 AM Thursday, March 19, 2009  ok this is just a cam whore pic. but i wanted to show u guys my new specs which u guys in sg never got to see! ) hahaha  and yes. please look at what they wrote for singapore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg! feel so super insulted la. just because i look chinese doesnt mean we are part of China! hahaha but the part abt the gum was quite funny. cos while i was explaining, i was also furiously chewing my gum. as if i had to prove my point and to show how deprive we were. hehe and after that, we had to enact the scene in the way we greet a friend after not seeing each other for a long time in our native language. of course me and qiling just gave each other a hug and then we proceeded to speak in a mixture of chinese and english.. we were confused ourseleves cos it was impromptu and i spoke in el while she spoke in cl.. but i doubt anybody got us anyway. ahahah wish we had a language of our own though... BE PROUD OF SINGLISH YO! and through this activity i learnt alot too! for example.. the spainish "party without reason" and are ALWAYS LATE and they are so touchy with each other, even within girls and guys and for iran, u are supposed to respect the girl and not touch her at all... THE KISS. what amazes me the most is always the kisss. never been kissed so much in my whole entire life till i got here.. ok make that never. and yes seems like the french and the spainish like it two times on the cheeks while latino goes for one. in scandivanian countries, dun even think abt it... sians. i can imagine myself being very kiss-deprived when i am back in sg.. esp when u get kissed by ur special someone. heheeh. oh wellls ENOUGH CULTURE SHOCK! XOXO 2:39 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2009 shit. if there is one thing i miss abt singapore, its the shopping. the shopping here is so limited! no cheap clothes and out of the entire street, there are only a few shops that u buy clothes from, like H&M and new yorker or whatsoever. everything else is expensive.. I MISS ORCHARD ROAD! but its good in a way cos i dun actaully buy as much as when i am in sg. but another sucky thing is,, germans has ultra big feet! so the smallest size here is 36 when i wear a 34/35.boooooooo! cant freaking buy any shoes... even the boots which i bought are a little too big. wearable but not when it comes to shoes like pumps or heels!i should have came in winter!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway bought another scarf from H&m(qiling and i bought the same scarf! ) hahah and bought a super nice blouse from H&M... love it too much and it was only abt 20 sgd... wooohoooo feel so satisfied.hahaha I LOVE H&M! XOXO 2:21 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2009  fulfilling our roles as exchnage students and visitng the must visit- ikea.. ahahah  tired after the shopping. yay i am so happy. i finally bought mnyself a mirror for only 6.99euro and a carpet for the floor.(think u would have seen it already). it wasnt too cheap(9.99euro) but i really need it to add a little but more colour to my room. yikes. i promise no more indulging from next month onwards! i will only buy the necessitities! XOXO 3:09 AM Saturday, March 14, 2009  on the train. it was ultra exciting cos we were going up higher in the altitude and we saw more and more snow! imagine my excitement! almost died with excitement at the sight of so much snow! of course 4 hrs on the train was also much time to cam-whore. hehee  at the titi see which was frozen. sceneery was still great nonethelesss.. from left: babara frompoland, irem from turkey,swee foo, me, qiling, deborah from italy and marcela.  me and qiling just could not get enough of the snow.. refused to get up even though our bottoms were soaked and just asked zolin to keep taking photos of us. hahaha had a very enjoyable trip overall and we even went up to feldberg which is like a mountain and we saw pple skiing! wanted to ski but time didnt allow so we said we will go back another time to skii. took alot more photos of the snow before gg back to the city centre and enjoyed dessert before meeting the rest and took a super long train ride back to stuttgart. left freiberg at atf 6 and only reached back to stuttgart at ard 11 pm at night. i think today, we changed like more than 10 trains in total. my butt was totally sore after all the train ride. talk abt saving money.. sigh. we could have taken the faster train but we wanted to save mnoney so yeps. sore butt! XOXO 7:45 PM Friday, March 13, 2009  with the birthday boy! :)  and u should really bring your own drinks cos even though the host will buy some, it usually runs out so fast!  with the french.. i am tempted to add fries. hahaha  with jan :):)  with the italians!  fellow singaporeans! my companions for the next few months!  we decided to capture the party atmosphere hehe... realise we got alot of weird looks that says wtf? hahaha  party party.. XOXO 2:56 AM Thursday, March 12, 2009 i felt so bad! cooked such a disastrous meal for saad and marcela today. saad was too nice! he gave me his entire packet of rice cos he was goign back to saudi arabia and so i decided to cook it for them. but i guess i didnt put enough water and the whole entire pot of rice was uncooked! so we were like trying our hardest to swallow the rice but it was impossible.. too hard.. yikes..felt so ultra bad! they keot telling me it was ok but yessss i felt so horrible!! i have to cook more rice to get the hang of it man. can be an expert rice cooker when i get back. hahaha and the day didnt get better cos irritating arthur was being his usual bossy irritating and chauvanistic self again and insisted we all meet him at the lake to go buy our student travel concession thing and he only told us halfway through lunch abt it and he expected all of us to be there! like it wasnt even a question to see if we were free. more like a command for us to be there no matter what... WTF. but as usual none of us dared to say no... i swear i could just see the bitching session coming after we finish with everything. hahaha  our student travel pass for the next one semester. i swear i look ultra gross. the pic was so pixelised i couldnt recognise myself. i think it was because i was the last one in the queue and the guy was getting damn pissed off at us. hahaah XOXO 2:15 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2009  cam whoring and the sales lady was so nice.. she just found us super amusing.. hahaha can u imagine doing this in sg??? hahah comfirm kena scolded la!  new shoes! :)  trying on my new boots..  i bought them for 20 euro! hahah not really cheap but yes.. i treasure my opportunity to wear them! hahaha XOXO 2:30 AM Monday, March 09, 2009  the delicious maggi.. hehe .JPG) marcela playing the censorship game. we all agree they need clothes.. hahaha my neighbour put this poster up. like wth. the girls were totally naked.. could totally see their boobs la. i know guys are horny and all but cant they respect the fact that there is a girl here???!!! and the magazines on my dining table are like freaking FHM. like why would i want to stare at eva longoria's body when i eat??!!! sigh.. but i cant say much since i am the minority here.. looking on the bright side, at least the poster is great motivation to lose weight cos i feel ultra fat when i see the two girls. yikes. hope i dun become a kartoffel when i get back. kartoffel= potato. XOXO 1:55 AM Sunday, March 08, 2009 joined this city rally thing today which was organised for all the exchange students! ran about in the cold ard the city area trying to solve like a million and one questions, asking for passer bys to pose as ballerina dancers, buying a cooked egg??? and looking for pple who knew how to speak the swabisch dialect. oh wells at least we were not sweating like pigs even though we ran ard so much. hahah I LOVE THE WEATHER. although it was too cold... and my hands were frozen..  eating at the hauptbahnhof after the city rally.. from left: tomas and daniel from chile,emma (spain), timo(finnland) and of course marcela(mexico). XOXO 10:23 PM Saturday, March 07, 2009  so pretty! i always went crazy at the sight of all the snow :):) its looks so white and clean! can sg start snowing plsssssssssssssss?? and yes arthur said ytd at the party that he was gg to build a snowman that is bigger than me..  i guess he did. hahaha me and my snowman family hehe.  yay! all the builders of mr and mrs snowman:) pity there wasnt too much snow. so once we rolled the snow, we could see the grass beneath.. not too pretty and the snowman was muddy and brown at first but we girls help to spead more snow on it and help it to make-up till they were prettier whiter mr and mrs snowman. heheh. and it was all worth it even though we were freezing our asses off.. decided to go over to marcela's to cook dinner after the tiring day building mr and mrs snowman.. but we had to do alittle grocery shopping first..  emma with the shopping cart.. @ aldi  cooking or posing? hahaha  our meal! spaghetti again.. hahahahbut swee foo manges to stir fry vegetables sg style (omg! kowtow) and i cooked the onion egg! omg so proud of myself. heeheheh  us in saad's room after dinner. he had friends from saudi arabia with him and they were smoking sheesha so we joined in! hahah its cool how he manage to operate the whole entire thing and more so, how he manage to being his one duffelbag worth of sheesha from saudi arabia. hehe  smoking sheesha. hahaha i love the flavor.. green apple:0 XOXO 1:42 AM Friday, March 06, 2009  back row: javier fro chile, swee foo,orhun from turkey,jan from chile (the eye candy from my class! ) haha and tomas also from chile. then the rest of the pple are the most impt pple in my life in germany to date. hahah first we have marcela (purple coat) from mexico who so kindly allowed me to stay with her for the first few days! ), then emma from spain(standing on my right), and guat sim from malaysia who is studying in ntu, qiling, and deborah from italy! :) right in front is arthur who is also the buddy of all of the girls including me. that is how i got to know all this wonderful pple. got to thank arthur for it:)  listenign to the talks  and yes, the international dinner actually includes a visit to a *gasp* club! ehich is pretty unprecedented in nus. imagine, a school event! anyway we were at club dilayla. which played pretty bad music. hahah i miss phuture!!!!!!!!!!!! but the company was great so more than made up for it. everyone had a bier cos it was the "house pour" and it was so darn cheap.2 or 3 euro a bottle. however, the mixers and cocktails cost ard the same in sg..  with more asians. on the right, king and kitty from hk,the guy with the scarf is gong chun from china. he studies in nus too though :) had fun even though i was gone before everyone else. actaully no one else got drunk. hahaha i am super lousy i swear. just remembered that it was really packed and i was dozing offf, heh and the night bus came at 1.11, 2.22 or 3.33. hahah weird timing.. and it was so so so cold walking home in the night. whole body was shaking.. yikes.
