finally started lessons today after coming to germany for almost two months! but its quite sians cos all the arts subjects are taught in the stadtmitte campus which means i have to travel with the train to all my lessons! while all the enginnering courses are taught here( in the campus in which i am staying in ) so sians! i mean the whole point of staying on campus is so that i dun have to travel right? haha in sg context, its akin to staying in eusoff hall or sth and i have to travel to the bukit timah campus:( another bad point is, its the stadtmitte campus, so its like in the city which means shopping!!!!! i mean no matter how sucky the shopping here is, once u go into H&M, there is always sth to buy. ALWAYS.
anyway it felt weird to be in a class where i stick out like a sore thumb. yes! becasue all the others are freaking ang mohs. all girls. all ang mohs. super sians! hahaha
and yes i got a shock at the end of the lesson. after the tr said that the class was dismissed, the germans started pounding the tables with their fist. like omg! so scary la! like they were protesting or sth. we later realised that it was their way of showing thier appreciation for the lecturer and their way of saying thanks. what an odd method..
