Thursday, June 09, 2005 jo and i(interact club) cheryl and huihui(choir) hilda(lawnbowl) arson(lifescience) wee min(maths club) jacob n hann hui(soccer) althogh it took us kind of long to warm up to each other, we had a lot of great fun together esp during the trekking part and on the last day itself. brief overview of what we did.... DAY 1 arrived and assembled in sch at 7.30am. left our bags in the classroom before heading down to lt2 where we had a briefing. after brief intro, proceeded to quadrangle where we did this activity where we had to sit on each other's lap in a circle. it was not as easy as i thought it will be. bleh.... after lots of perspiration and whiffs of "fantastic aroma", it was finally over. so the whole day was basically, games/ activities, then to lt2 for slide presentations.the highlight of the day was the game we played in the audi. actually we were supposed to play a game involving candles in the sch field. was kind of looking forward to it actually. i mean how cool is it, walking in the pitch black field at night. but seeing the lightning in the sky, the game couldnt go on. so we went up to the audi. it was on the way up that sth super funny happened. JO OUTRAGED SOME GUY'S MODESTY! was laughing my head off.... the poor guy was bent over in pain. ouch!!!! poor thing! DAY 2 most horrendous day ever. haha actually it was still rather ok but the trekking part in pulau ubin was so tiring! our grp did sea rafting in the morning then after lunch, we took a ferry over to pulau ubin. all i remembered was a lot of walking, follwed by more walking and toward the end, it was even worse cos we had to run too. never walk/ran so much before.. it was a whole 15km!!!!!!!!!!!there was this part where i felt really bad and was even almost ready to cry already cos i was supposed to lead the way and i was seriously confused abt where to go and all. i cant help it. I CANT READ MAPS! lucky jo was there to help me and to encourage me along. ran the last part of the way towards the ending cos we were rushing to complete the entire route and then we were rushing again towards the last part cos we had to rush to catch the ferry.was so out of breath and the ferry didnt help either. it was rocking and shaking so much i was ready to regurgitate whatever lunch i had eaten. lucky the ride over sea was relatively short. past by changi village food centre. was reminded of the times alyson and i spent there during her chalet. was feeling dirty and hungry by the time we reached school. day 3 last day of ltc!was practically dying and fighting to keep awake during the session in the lt. didnt really hear anythin at all to be honest. went to the grandstand for games. played floorball for a while before it started to rain really heavily. sat and waited at the grandstand for the rain to subside.the rain got smaller after a whilt so we went back to play volleyball. we won the game! so proud of my grp haha. we were going to play soccer aft volleyball and everyone was sort of looking forward to seeing the soccer guys in action i guess but what the, the rain juz had to get bigger then, at the moment juz before the game commenced and therefore the whole thing had to come to an end. went to change into the sch u before lunch. had a short prayer session, presentation of the gifs to the trs and the student facils. video presentation of the past few day's activities. before long, it was dinner time again and we had a buffet dinner before the camp came to a conclusion.
